I love taking pictures of the screen during weird movies. Before this, I took pictures of the movie Highlander during every scene where the Kurgan appears. Wasn't really sure what to do with that... but now I'm kind of realizing that screen shots are sort of art in themselves. The photos standing alone, out of the film context, seem to have their own narrative - or invite the viewer to project one. Tommy is such a weird flick, and, like my other faves, Highlander and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it has plenty of killer set-ups for my eyes to devour.
